The UK and Ireland’s largest merchant service provider has featured on a list of Europe’s rapidly-growing companies.
Paymentsense has been featured for the second year in a row on the Inc. 5000 Europe; a list of the fastest-growing private companies operating throughout Europe.
The 7-year-old company, which provides card payment solutions to SMEs throughout the UK and Ireland, secured a place on this prestigious listing out of the millions of private companies operating throughout Europe by achieving growth of over 135%
Paymentsense’s card payment solutions, which include card payment machines, online payment gateways and virtual terminals, help over 50,000 small and medium businesses across the UK and Ireland meet the growing demand to take card payments.
As well as featuring in the Inc. 5000 Europe, Paymentsense won the Outstanding Business Award at the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track Awards. The payments provider, based in west London, was also shortlisted as a finalist for the Amazon Digital business of the Year Award at the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards last summer.
Collecting the Outstanding Business Award at the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track ceremony, George Karibian, co-founder of Paymentsense alongside Jan Farrarons, said, “Being an entrepreneur is a little bit like Buzz Lightyear walking up to the edge of a cliff, saying ‘Can Fly!’, and running into the open.”
Last year Paymentsense shared the Inc. 5000 Europe list with such notable companies as Avicii Music, Widespace, Hastens Mattresses, Meltwater, Bill’s Restaurant. This year, they share the list with the likes of Secret Escapes, Aviva Investors GR and Grosvenor Properties.
Paymentsense processes over £5 billion worth of card payments every year.
